On some trains, the Rhätische Bahn uses a conventional loco at one end of the train and a control car at the other end. The control car includes an engineer’s cab with controls linked to the loco, making bi-directional operation possible without the time and cost of moving the loco. This prototypical LGB model features a detailed cab, full interior and directional lighting, as well as ball bearing wheel sets with power pickups.
