The Sumpter Valley Railway was originally built to haul timber, but it quickly became a common carrier also transporting passengers, lumber, livestock, mining equipment, gold, mail and ore across eastern Oregon. For your SVRy freight trains, you’ll need a caboose, and this LGB model matches the livery and lettering of the line’s classic Number 5.
