MTS Power Extender





Toy train safety regulations limit each digital Central Station to a maximum power output of 5 amps. That may not be enough if you are running a very large number of trains at the same time. But there is a solution: The MTS Power Extender. It relays commands from the Central Station to an independently-powered track section. So by adding Power Extenders and transformers -- one transformer (like the LGB 50110/50111) for each Power Extender -- you can have multiple sections controlled by the same Central Station. The Power Extender can be used with “Type 2” (LGB 55005) and “Type 3” (LGB 55006) MTS Central Stations.
