Steam Locos

©Disney Mogul Steam Loco, Sound

In 1955, Walt Disney had the first two locomotives for his Disneyland Railroad built in his studio workshops, based on original drawings. The wonderful “C. K. Holliday” was named after the founder of the Santa Fe railroad, an early sponsor of the Disneyland Railroad. An almost identical copy of the “C.K. Holliday” was built in 1992 by H.P. Phillips, and since April 1992, it has operated in Disneyland Paris. This makes the “C.K. Holliday” the only loco listed twice on the roster of the Disneyland Railroad. This LGB model wears the current livery of the loco, and the digital sound system reproduces the sounds of a working steam locomotive along with authentic Disneyland station announcements. Features an onboard MTS decoder and a smoke generator. Together with the LGB ©Disney passenger cars, you can assemble a prototypical consist.
