RhB 75 Years Glacier Express Ge 6/6 Electric Loco, 412, Sound





For the 75th anniversary of the Glacier Express, the RhB's Ge 6/6 412 “Crocodile” was painted, for the first time, in this unusual blue color scheme to match the salon cars of the Alpine Classic Pullman Express. This train was used extensively during the anniversary year for special trips over the route of the Glacier Express. The loco wears the special “75 Jahre Glacier Express” logo and brass plates with the LGB and Bemo logos. Both manufacturers have been partners of the RhB for many years, and both were involved in the “Blue Crocodile” project. The model is equipped with twin Bühler motors for impressive pulling power. The front and rear lanterns are directional. The cab doors and sliding windows can be opened. Best of all, this unique anniversary model of the Ge 6/6 412 reproduces the actual sounds of the “Rhätische Krokodil.”
