EPL DR Factory Train Set



When you visit Ernst Paul Lehmann Patentwerk at Saganer Strasse in Nürnberg, Germany, you immediately notice the narrow-gauge train parked in front of the factory. For the 125th anniversary of the family firm, this train will available as an LGB model. The locomotive 99 5606 operated on the Franzburger Kreisbahn (Franzburg County Railway). Later, the Deutsche Reichsbahn took over this line and renumbered the locomotive. The LGB model is made from new molds, and it is an authentic replica of this charming locomotive. The model is equipped with directional lighting, a smoke generator and a “DCC interface.” A powerful Bühler motor provides plenty of pulling power. The set also includes all the cars of the train at the LGB factory. The original cars came from the OEG (Oberrheinische Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft AG, Upper Rhine Railway Company): a covered gondola with opening hatches, as well as a white and a brown boxcar. With this set, you can bring a famous part of the LGB factory to your LGB layout!
