RhB Heidi G 3/4 Steam Loco, 11, Sound

The Rhätische Bahn's G 3/4 11 was placed in service in 1903, and it remained in service until the 1970s. However, in 1952, the first movie based on the famous “Heidi” novel was filmed, and the RhB provided a train for the production. That train was pulled by the G 3/4 11, and since then, the loco has been nicknamed “Heidi.” Currently, the G 3/4 11 is being refurbished, and in a few years, this historic loco will be used for special RhB trains. The basic technical features of this LGB model are the same as the LGB 20271. However, this model is also equipped with digital reproductions of the prototype “Heidi,” including steam chuffs, coal shoveling, bell, whistle and other sound features. Additional sounds can be triggered using the LGB Multi-Train System.
