For more than 50 years, the “Neubau” (“new construction”) locomotives have been operating on the Harz narrow-gauge lines. This LGB model is different in major parts to the 1930s 99 7222-5 locos (LGB 21811/21812), including the cab and cab rear wall, water tanks, valve gear and pilot truck, as well as sand domes and buffer beams. On the Harz, both the old 99 7222-5 and the “Neubau” locomotives run side by side. Now you can showcase the differences between these fascinating locomotives on your LGB layout. The LGB model is equipped with two Bühler motors to provide tremendous pulling power. The cab is detailed, and the three lanterns light according to the direction of travel. The model is painted and lettered like the prototype, which continues to run on the HSB. Includes “DCC interface” and an advanced smoke generator with wheel-synchronized smoke puffs.
