On many railroads, gondolas represent the largest number of freight cars. That's no wonder since they are used to haul all kinds of bulk freight. Many of these cars were equipped with hand brakes, and to protect the brakeman, they include a brakeman’s hut. This model based on a Deutsche Reichsbahn original brings one of the most important car types to LGB layouts.
