Brohltal Mallet Steam Loco

In 1884, Anatole Mallet received a patent for an articulated locomotive. His design was intended for small locos, but his ideas were adapted to large locos made for railways with sharp curves. For example, the Brohltalbahn runs from the Rhine River into the Eifel Mountains, and initially, the steep grades required rack locos. But Mallets were able to pull the trains by adhesion alone. Take advantage of Mallet´s ideas with this articulated model. Each drive unit includes its own motor, giving this model exceptional pulling power, even on tight curves. Six directional lanterns give this impressive model an even greater presence.
